The service
Assam Converter gives you free online tools: Assam land unit converters (Bigha, Katha, Lessa), PDF and image tools, calculators, QR and ID card makers, text tools and more. Most tools run inside your browser.
We may add, change or remove tools at any time. A tool can be switched off for maintenance without notice.
Your account
- Correct details. Give your real name, a working email, mobile number, country and state when you sign up.
- One person, one account. Don't create accounts for someone else or make extra accounts to get around limits or rewards.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for anything done from your account.
- Lock after wrong passwords. After 5 wrong passwords your account is locked for 24 hours. You can ask the admin to unlock it.
- Daily limits per network. Sign-up, forgot password and change password can each be used 5 times a day from one IP address.
- Age. You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, use the site with a parent's or guardian's permission.
Your files
Files you open in a browser-based tool stay on your device and are not sent to us. A few features, like temporary share links, upload the file to our server. Those files are deleted automatically when the link expires.
You keep all rights to your files. You confirm you have the right to use any file, photo or personal data you put into a tool, for example student photos in the ID card maker.
Fair use
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything illegal, or to make fake government documents, certificates or IDs;
- upload viruses, or try to break into, overload or scrape the site;
- bypass the daily limit, the security check, the login lock or the reward rules;
- harass anyone through feedback, chat or share links;
- copy or resell the site or its tools as your own service.
We may block an account or IP address that breaks these rules.
Free use and limits
Visitors without an account can use 5 tools a day. A free account removes this limit. Some tools need you to be logged in. We may change these limits to keep the site running well for everyone.
Rewards and points
- Invite rewards are paid only when the invited person signs up with your link and uses the site for at least 3 days.
- Points are earned for real tool use, and can be withdrawn once you reach the amount shown on the Rewards page.
- Payments are made by the admin to the bank account or UPI you give. Check the details carefully; we can't recover money sent to wrong details you entered.
- Rewards from fake accounts, self-invites or automated use are cancelled.
- We may change or end the programme. Balances already approved for withdrawal will still be paid.
Accuracy of results
We work hard to get conversions and calculations right. Land units use the Assam standard (1 Bigha = 5 Katha = 100 Lessa = 14,400 sq ft). Local practice can differ.
Results are for guidance only. For land deals, legal papers, tax, loans or exams, check figures with the official office, such as the Circle Office, a registered surveyor, your bank or your institution.
Ads and outside links
The site shows ads from Google AdSense to stay free. Ads are chosen by Google; we don't control what they show. Some tools and the IFSC search use information from other services. Links to other websites are for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

Ownership
The Assam Converter name, logo, design and code belong to us. You may link to any page and share results you make. You may not copy the site's design or code for another service.
No guarantee and limit of liability
The tools are free and given "as is". We don't promise they will always be available, error-free or right for your purpose. Keep your own copy of important files before you convert them.
As far as Indian law allows, Assam Converter is not responsible for any loss caused by using the site, such as lost files, wrong results or missed deadlines.
Ending your use
You can stop using the site at any time, and ask us to delete your account from the Help section. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections on ownership, liability and law still apply after that.
Law and changes
These terms follow the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Guwahati, Assam.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
